Do Yoga Pants Shrink?

gown Digitizing my Diagon Alley

My favorite part of Harry Potter , the sorcerer's apprentice, is that in which first visited magic shops of Diagon Alley to buy school materials, books of different disciplines a pot with different ingredients for potions, a couple of coats, an owl and a magic wand.

read this book while I was in first race, the scene reminded me that he had recently lived in which medical students had to buy our first medical equipment: a white coat, stethoscope and an atlas of human anatomy.

To me, the embroidered robe my mother to me, the stethoscope I inherited from my grandfather and I had to buy Atlas.

remember visiting the library faculty on the first Friday after classes have ended, along with two colleagues I had just met. The shop was small, with wood flooring, and was full of other medical students who, like me, visit the various atlas to choose which was more suited to be the teacher's explanations.

That day I bought my first book and learned Medicine an important lesson: that this kind of books were expensive and a poor choice of the right book hurt not only the heart but also in the pocket. My atlas cost more than 30,000 pesetas in 2000. Fortunately, I was right to choose.

However, I could easily have been mistaken. Standing, confused by a counter, with other students behind me eagerly awaiting his turn and not knowing even how to study anatomy well, might have finally chosen the wrong book.

Ten years later, continue to need books and they are still expensive. However, there are now purchasing methods alternative and far more secure. I chose my book of Otolaryngology Surgical among several available and consulted their sample chapters for free on Google Books . I convinced the content and its availability consulted José Mateos, a known medical librarian introduced in social networks.

I asked via Twitter some doubts about the book's contents, shipment and payment options. It was ten o'clock at night. At one o'clock in the morning and from my own computer, we reached an agreement and, forty exact hours later, I found a box in my living room.

The book is wonderful.
